After an announcement from Tom DeLonge, the first official trailer for the band's first feature length film, Love, was released on October 30 on the band's website.. The film is directed by William Eunbank . Unlike their new album, the release date for the film is in the spring of 2010.Synopsis:
After losing contact with Earth, Astronaut LEE MILLER becomes stranded in orbit alone aboard the International Space Station. As time passes and life support systems dwindle, Lee battles to maintain his sanity - and simply stay alive. His world is a claustrophobic and lonely existence, until he makes a strange discovery aboard the ship. Driven by the powerful music of ANGELS & AIRWAVES, “LOVE” explores the fundamental human need for connection and the limitless power of hope… A high-impact visual adventure, that resonates a common truth, that everyone has a story to tell and something even greater to leave behind.

hold on. is it like, a real movie?? or some sort of documentary but with acting??
It is a science fiction film to be released by the band. So, yeah it's a real movie! But it doesn't compete with transformers or these kinda movies :p as Tom DeLonge said, "I can tell you, honestly, the movie is ten times better than I thought it would be. But it’s not meant to compete with Transformers. This is an art-house film and no band has really done this in a very long time. So we’re hoping that we catch some people off guard and we’re also hoping that we do something that is very credible as far its artistic acumen goes." ♥
