Abaya Hunting

For those of you who don't know what Abaya is. An Abaya is a long, black robe worn on top of clothes whenever a woman is outdoors.

I have been looking everywhere here in Oman (Muscat to be more specific) for Abaya stores where have different kind of designs and cuts. What I'm trying to say is here in Muscat almost half of the ladies have the same/common designs of Abayas and that's due to the few stores we have here. It's really rare to see a lady wearing on the most elegant Abaya or at least look put-together. I think it's really important for me wear my best knowing the fact your Abaya and sheila (scarf) represent your sense of style as well as your purse and footwear.

Finally after searching online I found a store called Fushia+ via facebook. It's a small store located in Al-Athaibah. It has quite good collection of Abayas and at least I found what I was looking for.

I wanted something simple plain one that I could wear it everyday and appropriate for college. Something similar to this:


And the other one is more like an elegant and would wear it when I go out for dinner or with my girls. I've always wanted something similar to this one way back (two years ago):


I guess I'm done with Abaya hunting. Got what I wanted, at last!
