I started college already (it’s been a week now). I have to say this, it’s nothing special other than attending your class and wait for the other one to start. Actually, there’s nothing to do between classes. Oh, let’s see… You have only two options and you must choose what is best for you. You either stay in that smelly cafeteria (unless you want to get out of that place smelling like fried onions) or sit around and wait till the next class starts at the library.

Perhaps, I’m still new to that place and it’s a brand new atmosphere. However my main purpose is to get a good degree and the education that I need in three years to be particular. I couldn’t care less about what is happening around me whether it has something to do with ignorant guys or girls who stare at you and look away once you smile/look at them.I'm sorry the only thing that I really can't stand is how tacky they can be.Okay, enough bitching about my college. I’ll stop hating.

However, I don’t want to generalize… As there are some friendly people around But really other than the things I mentioned above, I’m pretty satisfied with the education and knowledge I’m getting. And that what matters most.

Overall, I had a good week and that is all because of the after-college-outings, good friends and mostly, my sister Suha. I wouldn’t survive without these three. Speaking of outings, I saw a vintage GMC on the road when I was out today. This was a first to me as I haven’t seen any around Muscat. Pretty cool, huh?

Yup that's a rare find. They are pretty abundant in KSA but not in Oman
