Laziness

To be quite frank, my vacation was all about lounging around and staying in. I didn't do anything productive whatsoever, or perhaps I needed this so badly; at the end, the point of having a vacation is to not do anything much because the past few months were loaded with college work and I had been very busy. I guess the vacation was very much needed.

Having the time to sip hot coco, going for a walk every evening with mother, reading the books I've always wanted to read but couldn't manage to have time to read, enjoying the beautiful weather catching on my favorite series and lastly resting and sleeping as much as I can, were the highlights of my holiday. Despite the fact that I spent the first two weeks in bed and being ill with a horrible flu that has been going around this season; I've managed to have a delightful holiday. A feel-good holiday.

Quote I

"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Fall & Winter Playlist

We all have certain tracks we like to listen to and personally, I categorize my music depending on my mood, time of the day,  and  relate it to people, certain occasions or situations, for example, I discovered and started liking the band 'Angels & Airwaves' three years ago when I was on my way to school, my iPod was on shuffle and a song by AVA came up randomly, I actually still remember that particular song it was Secret Crowds from their second album i-empire and I still remember how it felt when I first listened to it.

I was having one of those moment where you feel so worthless, so helpless, incapable of doing anything and life seems so unfair. Like every door has closed before you have gotten out. Like every dream has been sealed shut. So, when I first listened to that song, it was early in the morning and the sun has just raised and I remember it was in this time of the year. Let's just say I had a moment. It was magical. It is somehow kept me going and made me hope and love life again. Alright, that's that!

Here are the top four favorite albums I have been listening to and actually on repeat for the past few weeks. Pure awesomeness. In no particular order (I love them all equally):

1. The Black Keys, El Camino.
2. Coldplay, Mylo Xyloto.
3. Angels & Airwaves, Love part one and two.
4. Carolina Liar, Wild Blessed Freedom.

Other than these four albums I have a list of songs that I'm currently loving and some have been on my list for the past few months, in no particular order:

1. Levels by Avicii
2. We found love by Rihanna.
3. Take care by Drake (featuring Rihanna)
4. Middle finger by Cobra Starship.
5. Sunshine by David Guetta.
6. Titanium by David Guetta (featuring Sia)
7. Little bad girl by David Guetta (featuring Taio Cruz)
8. Believe it by Spencer and Hill ( featuring Nadia Ali)
9. Radioactive by Marina And The Diamonds.

That's what I can recall at the moment. These are the only songs that I can remember but actually I have loads other songs I recently love.
